Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to understand photography briefs, objectives, and specific requirements for each assignment.
- Plan and prepare for shoots, including scouting locations, arranging equipment, and coordinating with subjects or event organizers.
- Execute on-site photography for a range of events (e.g., conferences, weddings, concerts, corporate functions) and commercial projects (e.g., product photography, headshots, brand campaigns).
- Utilize advanced photographic techniques and equipment, including lighting, lenses, and camera settings, to achieve desired visual outcomes.
- Direct subjects and manage scenes effectively to capture authentic and engaging images.
- Perform comprehensive post-production work, including culling, editing, color correction, and retouching using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Ensure timely delivery of high-resolution edited images to clients, adhering to agreed-upon deadlines and quality standards.
- Maintain and regularly update a professional portfolio showcasing a diverse range of event and commercial photography.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new techniques, and equipment to continuously enhance photographic skills and offerings.
- Manage personal equipment maintenance and ensure readiness for all assignments.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in event and commercial photography.
- Proficiency in operating professional-grade DSLR/Mirrorless cameras and various lenses.
- Expertise in studio and natural lighting techniques, including flash photography and continuous lighting.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for photo editing, color grading, and retouching.
- Strong understanding of composition, framing, and visual storytelling.
- Demonstrable portfolio showcasing a diverse range of event and commercial work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and subjects.

- Reliable personal transportation and willingness to travel to various locations within Abuja and surrounding areas for assignments.
