Career.supersecrets is seeking a highly talented and experienced Freelance Photographer specializing in both events and commercial projects to join our network of creative professionals in Karu, Abuja. Your portfolio should demonstrate versatility in various photographic styles, including but not limited to corporate events, product photography, lifestyle shoots, architectural photography, and portraiture for commercial purposes. We are looking for an individual who is not only skilled behind the lens but also possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with clients and subjects. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality. This role requires flexibility to work on-site at various locations within Karu and wider Abuja, often outside standard business hours, depending on event schedules or commercial shoot requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality photography assignments for events (e.g., conferences, weddings, corporate functions) and commercial projects (e.g., product launches, brand campaigns, real estate, portraits).
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, objectives, and specific photography requirements for each project.
- Plan and prepare for shoots, including scouting locations, setting up equipment, and coordinating with subjects.
- Operate professional camera equipment, lighting, and other accessories to achieve desired visual outcomes.
- Perform post-production tasks, including image selection, editing, retouching, and color correction, to meet client specifications and deadlines.
- Deliver final edited images in specified formats and resolutions, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines where applicable.
- Maintain and organize photographic equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition.
- Manage project timelines efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of all photographic assets.
- Build and maintain a strong professional relationship with clients and other stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and software to continuously enhance skills and service offerings.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with professional-grade DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment.
- Expertise in photographic composition, lighting, and exposure techniques.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or other professional photo editing software.
- Strong portfolio showcasing diverse experience in event and commercial photography.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and subject direction.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines.

- Reliable personal transportation to travel to various shoot locations within Karu and Abuja.
