Key Responsibilities
- Execute photographic assignments for various events (e.g., conferences, weddings, concerts, corporate gatherings, social functions) with professionalism and artistic flair.
- Capture high-quality commercial images for products, branding campaigns, editorials, and corporate profiles, adhering strictly to client briefs and brand guidelines.
- Operate and maintain professional-grade camera equipment, lenses, lighting setups, and other relevant photography gear.
- Demonstrate expertise in diverse photography techniques, including natural light, studio lighting, portraiture, candid, and action shots.
- Perform comprehensive post-production work, including culling, color correction, retouching, and final image editing using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Ensure timely delivery of high-resolution, edited images to clients, meeting all specified deadlines and technical requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with clients to understand their vision, objectives, and specific photographic needs for each project.
- Manage project timelines, schedules, and deliverables efficiently.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while representing Career.supersecrets and its clients on assignment.
- Secure appropriate model releases and property releases when necessary, in line with ethical and legal standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a professional photographer specializing in event and commercial photography.
- Expert-level proficiency with professional DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lenses, and accessories.
- Strong understanding of lighting principles, composition, exposure, and color theory.
- Advanced skills in photo editing and retouching using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar software.
- Excellent portfolio showcasing a diverse range of high-quality event and commercial photography.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and subjects.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering outstanding visual content.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Abuja and surrounding areas for assignments.
- Possession of professional photography equipment including backup gear.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with videography and video editing is a plus.
