Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality photography assignments for various events including weddings, corporate functions, birthdays, and social gatherings.
- Conduct commercial photography sessions for products, brands, corporate profiles, and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and specific shot lists for each project.
- Manage all aspects of photography equipment, ensuring it is well-maintained, functional, and appropriate for each shoot.
- Demonstrate expertise in lighting techniques, composition, and posing to achieve desired aesthetic and narrative goals.
- Perform professional post-production work, including editing, retouching, color correction, and culling using industry-standard software.
- Deliver final edited images to clients within agreed timelines and specifications.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proactively communicate with the Eternity Photos team regarding project updates, challenges, and scheduling.
- Continuously update portfolio with new, high-quality work to showcase capabilities.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of proven professional photography experience in events and commercial sectors.
- Exceptional proficiency with professional DSLR or Mirrorless camera systems and various lenses.
- Expert-level understanding of lighting techniques (natural, artificial, studio flash) and modifiers.
- Advanced skills in photo editing software, particularly Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating diverse experience in event and commercial photography.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong creative vision and an eye for compelling compositions and storytelling.
- Reliable personal transportation and willingness to travel within Abuja and surrounding areas for assignments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with videography and video editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Proficiency in drone photography and licensed operation.
- Experience in specialized photography genres such as fashion, real estate, or food photography.
- Ability to provide creative direction and styling advice during shoots.
- Active presence on professional photography platforms and social media.
