Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a warm and friendly demeanor, directing them to appropriate sections or staff.
- Process over-the-counter sales accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash/card transactions.
- Maintain organized and tidy counter areas, ensuring products are well-stocked and shelves are clean.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and shelving pharmacy deliveries, checking for discrepancies and expiry dates under supervision.
- Answer basic customer inquiries regarding product location, store hours, and general information.
- Refer all medication-related questions, health concerns, or complex inquiries to the registered Pharmacist.
- Support the pharmacy team with administrative tasks as needed, contributing to efficient workflow.
- Adhere strictly to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional standards at all times.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic approach.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with learning new software (e.g., POS systems).
