Key Responsibilities
- Assist professional groomers with bathing, drying, brushing, and de-shedding various breeds of dogs and cats.
- Learn and practice safe and humane animal handling techniques, ensuring the comfort and security of pets throughout the grooming process.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic grooming salon, including cleaning kennels, tools, and work areas.
- Prepare grooming stations by setting up necessary equipment and supplies before appointments.
- Monitor pets for any signs of stress, discomfort, or health issues, reporting observations to senior groomers.
- Greet pet owners warmly, assist with check-ins and check-outs, and answer basic questions about services.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining client records.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe environment for pets, clients, and staff.
- Continuously learn and develop new grooming skills and techniques under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Required Skills
- Genuine love for animals and a strong desire to work with them.
