Key Responsibilities
- Assisting professional groomers with pet preparation, including brushing, de-shedding, and dematting.
- Performing bathing and drying services for dogs and cats of various breeds and sizes, following salon protocols.
- Learning and practicing safe and humane animal handling techniques at all times to ensure pet comfort and safety.
- Maintaining a clean, hygienic, and organized grooming environment, including washing towels, sanitizing tools, and cleaning work stations regularly.
- Providing basic nail trims and ear cleaning under direct supervision and after appropriate training.
- Monitoring pets for signs of stress or discomfort and promptly reporting any concerns to senior groomers.
- Interacting positively and respectfully with pet owners, offering friendly greetings and assistance with check-ins and check-outs.
- Helping with appointment scheduling and client communications as needed.
- Restocking grooming supplies and assisting with inventory management.
- Adhering strictly to all salon policies, safety procedures, and animal welfare standards.

- Genuine love and compassion for animals (dogs and cats) and a desire to work closely with them.

Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Basic understanding of different dog and cat breeds and their common temperaments (not essential, but a plus).
- Previous experience in any customer service role is beneficial, demonstrating good client interaction skills.
- Knowledge of basic animal first aid (training will be provided as part of the role).
