Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, punctual, and comfortable transportation for the principal(s) to various destinations within Muhanga and the Southern Province.
- Maintain the vehicle in impeccable condition, performing daily checks, cleaning, and coordinating regular servicing and repairs.
- Plan and execute efficient routes, considering real-time traffic, road conditions, and passenger preferences and schedules.
- Assist with personal errands, shopping, and deliveries as required, handling items with care and responsibility.
- Ensure strict confidentiality and discretion regarding all client information, schedules, and activities at all times.
- Adhere to all local traffic laws and safety regulations rigorously, prioritizing the safety of passengers and the vehicle.
- Manage vehicle documentation, including registration, insurance, and maintenance records, ensuring all are up-to-date.
- Be flexible with working hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, as client needs dictate, with advance notice.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with the principal and other staff members, demonstrating a professional demeanor.
Required Skills
- Valid Rwandan driving license (Category B or higher) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional personal, executive, or family driving experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Muhanga and Southern Province road networks, including alternative routes.
- Proven record of safe driving practices and unwavering adherence to traffic laws.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability.
- High level of discretion, trustworthiness, and confidentiality.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge (e.g., fluid checks, tire pressure, minor repairs).
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully in Kinyarwanda and English.
- Strong customer-service oriented attitude with a polite and helpful disposition.
Preferred Qualifications
- Defensive driving certification or advanced driving course completion.
- Experience driving luxury or high-end vehicles.
- First Aid certification.
- Proficiency in French is an added advantage.
