Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, reliable, and punctual transportation for the principal to various destinations.
- Plan and execute efficient routes, considering traffic conditions and principal's schedule.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle in pristine condition, ensuring regular cleaning, servicing, and necessary repairs.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and operational readiness.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of the principal at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading luggage or other items as required.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
- Demonstrate flexibility in working hours, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with the principal and other household staff.
- Proactively anticipate transportation needs and potential logistical challenges.
Required Skills
- Valid South African driving license (Code 08/B minimum)
- Minimum of 3 years of professional personal driving experience
- Impeccable driving record with no traffic violations or accidents
- Excellent knowledge of Mahikeng and surrounding North West areas
- Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and routine maintenance
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
