We are seeking a highly professional, discreet, and reliable Personal Driver to join a private household, offering a unique live-in opportunity that includes room and meals. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the employer’s transportation needs, from daily commutes and errands to special engagements and occasional longer trips. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport the employer to various destinations, including home, work, appointments, and social engagements.
- Maintain the cleanliness and excellent condition of the assigned vehicle(s) at all times.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
- Manage vehicle fueling, servicing, and documentation (registration, insurance, etc.).
- Plan efficient routes, considering traffic conditions and employer's schedule, using navigation tools effectively.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding the employer's personal and business affairs.
- Assist with loading and unloading luggage, packages, or other items as required.
- Be flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends, based on the employer's schedule.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class E or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years professional driving experience with verifiable references
- Excellent knowledge of Lagos road networks and traffic patterns, especially within Ojota, Kosofe and surrounding areas
- Proven record of safe driving and adherence to traffic laws
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and integrity
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and smartphone applications
- Good time management and organizational skills
