Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport clients to their destinations in and around Cape Town.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle in pristine condition, including regular cleaning, basic maintenance checks (fuel, oil, tire pressure), and scheduling professional services.
- Plan and execute optimal routes, considering traffic, weather conditions, and client preferences to ensure punctuality.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality regarding client schedules, conversations, and personal information.
- Assist clients with loading and unloading luggage, packages, and other belongings.
- Manage schedules and appointments, communicating any changes or delays promptly and professionally.
- Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and a helpful attitude at all times.
- Keep detailed records of journeys, mileage, and vehicle maintenance as required.
Required Skills
- Valid South African driving license (Code B/8 or higher)
- Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience (e.g., chauffeur, personal driver, executive driver)
- Clean driving record with no endorsements or major traffic violations
- Excellent knowledge of Cape Town and surrounding Western Cape areas, including routes and traffic patterns
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity, discretion, and trustworthiness
- Punctuality and reliability
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced driving course certification (e.g., defensive driving)
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Experience with luxury vehicles
- Ability to speak multiple languages (e.g., Afrikaans, Xhosa)
