Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in collecting, verifying, and processing employee time sheets and attendance data.
  • Support the preparation and execution of weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payrolls.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in compensation or benefits.
  • Help calculate and reconcile deductions such as taxes, pension contributions, and other benefits.
  • Respond to basic employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and payment schedules.
  • Prepare and distribute pay slips and other payroll-related documents.
  • Assist in generating payroll reports for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Perform general administrative duties to support the payroll department.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of all payroll and employee information.

Required Skills

  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of mathematical calculations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • OND or relevant certification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles.

  • Knowledge of payroll software or HRIS is an advantage.
