Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of designated areas on foot or by vehicle to deter and detect signs of intrusion, vandalism, fire, or other disturbances.
• Monitor surveillance equipment, inspect buildings and access points, and permit entry.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances, reporting any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities and management.
• Write detailed reports of daily activities, irregularities, and significant occurrences.
• Ensure the security of premises and personnel by maintaining a visible presence and enforcing rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with emergency services during critical incidents, providing assistance as required.
• Provide basic customer service and assistance to clients, visitors, and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
• Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Required Skills

• Minimum of Secondary School Certificate (SSCE/WAEC/NECO)
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
• High level of integrity, honesty, and professionalism
• Basic understanding of security principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, military, or law enforcement (even voluntary roles)
• Valid driver's license (Class E or G) for potential vehicle patrols
