Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report changes to nursing staff.
- Help patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Assist with personal hygiene needs and provide incontinent care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, relaying important observations.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Document care provided and patient observations accurately and promptly.
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
