Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our thriving legal team in Omaha, Nebraska. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal research and writing skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position will provide comprehensive support to our attorneys, working on a variety of legal matters. You will be instrumental in managing case files, conducting legal research, preparing documents, and assisting with client communication. The work is challenging, rewarding, and offers a chance to contribute significantly to the success of our clients and the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting thorough legal research using various online databases and resources.
- Preparing and drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence.
- Organizing and maintaining case files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Assisting attorneys with discovery, including preparing interrogatories, requests for production, and depositions.
- Scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings.
- Communicating with clients and other professionals in a professional and courteous manner.
- Performing other administrative tasks as assigned by supervising attorneys.
- Supporting attorneys in litigation, transactional, or other legal matters as needed.
Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field.

- Experience with specific legal practice areas (e.g., corporate law, litigation, real estate).
- Knowledge of Westlaw or LexisNexis.
- Experience with e-filing systems.
