Key Responsibilities
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment safely and efficiently after comprehensive training.
- Inspect products for quality defects before and after packaging to maintain high standards.
- Package finished products accurately according to specified guidelines and client standards.
- Apply labels, stickers, and other identifying marks precisely to packaged goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, strictly adhering to all hygiene and safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory counts, material handling, and loading/unloading tasks as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, product quality issues, or safety concerns promptly.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and meticulously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Excellent manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
- Good physical stamina, capable of standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights (up to 20kg).
- Reliable and punctual with a strong, dedicated work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- Basic literacy skills (ability to read and write in English or Swahili).
