Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon their arrival, escorting them to their tables and presenting menus.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, utilizing point-of-sale (POS) systems, and relaying them to the kitchen or bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring all items meet quality and presentation standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to inquiries or requests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including setting up and clearing tables, and ensuring proper sanitation.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with patience and tact, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Process payments accurately, handle cash and credit card transactions, and manage end-of-shift reports.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to ensure smooth service operations.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards as per local regulations and company policies.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold the establishment’s reputation for excellent service.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a reputable establishment.
- Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
