Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and assist patients, making them feel comfortable and valued.
- Help patients with frame selection, providing style advice and explaining different lens options.
- Perform basic eyewear adjustments, repairs, and cleanings.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing the appointment book efficiently.
- Answer phone calls, address patient inquiries, and direct calls as appropriate.
- Prepare patient charts and input data accurately into our electronic health records system.
- Maintain the appearance and organization of the optical display area and reception.
- Assist Optometrists with pre-testing procedures and other tasks as needed.
- Educate patients on proper eyewear care and contact lens handling.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries.
- Collaborate with the optical team to ensure smooth daily operations and patient flow.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
