Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity across manufacturing and logistics functions.
- Oversee daily production schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage inventory levels, optimize warehousing operations, and streamline distribution processes to minimize waste and maximize throughput.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring adherence to company policies and safety protocols.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve operational flow and reduce lead times.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to track operational performance, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and finance departments to align operational activities with overall business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, quality standards, and health and safety guidelines.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms for materials, equipment, and services.
- Implement and champion lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in operations management within a manufacturing or logistics setting (minimum 3-5 years).
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of motivating and developing staff.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and other operational software.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and production planning.
- Strong understanding of quality control processes and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with all levels of an organization.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
