Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate vehicles for various assignments, adhering strictly to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Transport goods, packages, or passengers to designated locations within specified timeframes.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure operational readiness and safety.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and passengers, providing updates and addressing any concerns professionally.
- Adhere to designated routes and schedules while demonstrating flexibility for last-minute changes or urgent requests.
- Handle documentation, such as delivery logs, manifests, or trip sheets, accurately and promptly.
- Ensure the security of transported items or the comfort and safety of passengers at all times.
- Represent Career.supersecrets and its clients with professionalism and a customer-centric attitude.
Required Skills
- Valid South African Driver's License (Code B or higher, depending on vehicle requirements).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 5 years.
- Minimum of 2 years (24 months) of professional driving experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal roads and surrounding areas.
- Strong navigational skills and ability to use GPS systems effectively.
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced driving course certification.
- Experience with specific vehicle types (e.g., panel vans, executive sedans).
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Customer service experience in a client-facing role.
- Ability to perform minor vehicle maintenance checks.
