Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Garissa office staff, including filing, photocopying, scanning, and document management.
- Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including answering phones, directing calls, and handling mail and official correspondence.
- Maintain office supplies inventory, place orders, and ensure the office is well-stocked and equipped.
- Assist in organizing and scheduling meetings, appointments, and events, including preparing meeting rooms and taking minutes when required.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records and databases.
- Support basic financial tasks such as petty cash management and expense tracking under supervision.
- Welcome visitors and ensure a professional and hospitable front office environment.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodation for staff members as needed.
- Assist with logistical support for field activities and community outreach programs.
- Ensure the general cleanliness and organization of the office premises.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
