Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Clerk with a strong focus on filing and reporting to join our dynamic administrative team at Sterling Bank Plc on Broad Street, Lagos Island. In this essential role, you will be the backbone of our operational efficiency, ensuring that all vital documents are meticulously organized, easily retrievable, and that administrative reports are accurately compiled and delivered on time. You will play a critical role in supporting our daily administrative functions, contributing to the smooth flow of information, and enabling various departments to operate seamlessly. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain comprehensive physical and digital filing systems, ensuring all documents are accurately categorized and easily accessible.
  • Perform regular data entry tasks, ensuring high levels of accuracy and data integrity.
  • Assist in the preparation and compilation of various administrative reports, summaries, and presentations.
  • Scan, index, and archive documents, transitioning physical records to digital formats where appropriate.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including sorting, distributing, and preparing mail.
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory, placing orders as needed to ensure continuous availability.
  • Provide general administrative support to various departments, including scheduling meetings and managing office equipment.
  • Ensure strict adherence to confidentiality protocols for all sensitive information and documents.
  • Assist with photocopying, binding, and other clerical duties as required.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Familiarity with record management software or systems.
  • Basic knowledge of banking operations or financial documentation.
