Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients, including medical history, dietary intake, and anthropometric measurements.
- Develop and implement individualized medical nutrition therapy plans based on patient needs, medical conditions, and cultural preferences.
- Provide one-on-one nutrition counseling and education to patients and their families on disease management, healthy eating habits, and meal planning.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to integrate nutritional care into the overall patient treatment plan.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutritional interventions, adjusting plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies and ethical guidelines.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, grand rounds, and case conferences to discuss patient care strategies.

Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Registered Dietitian or Licensed Nutritionist status in Nigeria (or eligible for registration/licensure).
- Proven experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Strong understanding of medical nutrition therapy for various disease states.
