Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and implementation of creative and educational activities for children across various age groups (0-5 years).
- Support children’s personal care routines, including feeding, changing, and promoting good hygiene practices.
- Observe and monitor children’s development, contributing to their individual learning records and progress reports.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care, adhering strictly to safeguarding and health & safety policies.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and nurturing environment that encourages learning through play and exploration.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering open and effective communication.
- Assist with tidying, cleaning, and maintaining the nursery environment to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and organisation.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development opportunities.

- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Phase (EYFP) curriculum in Wales.
- Current Paediatric First Aid certificate.
- Enhanced DBS check registered on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
