Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, for diverse patient populations.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., lab work, imaging) in collaboration with physicians, to inform accurate diagnoses.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, adjusting as necessary based on patient response and clinical outcomes.
- Administer medications, therapies, and other treatments as prescribed and within the scope of practice.
- Provide advanced patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, disease prevention, and health promotion.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Participate in ward rounds, interdisciplinary team meetings, and case conferences to contribute to patient management strategies.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care plans accurately and comprehensively in electronic health records.
- Act as a clinical resource and mentor for junior nursing staff, contributing to their professional development.
- Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with best practices, research, and regulatory changes in nursing and healthcare.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols within the hospital.
Required Skills
- Completed university degree in Nursing (Bachelor's or Master's) or equivalent recognized advanced nursing qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a specialized or acute care setting.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical assessment and diagnostic reasoning skills.
- Proficiency in German language (C1 level or higher) and strong English communication skills.
