Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Ikeja, Lagos. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to providing the highest quality patient care. You will be responsible for assessing patients, diagnosing and managing illnesses, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing patient education and counseling. Key Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and history taking.
- Diagnosing and managing a wide range of illnesses and health conditions.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, including blood work and imaging studies.
- Prescribing medications and other treatments as appropriate.
- Providing patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease management.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Adhering to all relevant clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Nigeria
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Knowledge of current medical guidelines and protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
