Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with professional standards and best practices.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment, escalating concerns appropriately.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to provide integrated care.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to data protection policies.
- Participate in ward rounds, clinical meetings, and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to all local and national healthcare policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines.
- Provide compassionate support and maintain a therapeutic environment for patients.
Required Skills
- Valid nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or eligibility to register.
- Minimum of 2 years post-registration nursing experience in an acute or relevant clinical setting.
- Excellent clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in administering medications and performing nursing procedures.
