Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical and psychological health.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, accurately documenting all actions.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress, reporting changes to senior staff or physicians.
- Provide clear and compassionate communication to patients and their families regarding health status and care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to legal and organisational standards.
- Participate in ward rounds, team meetings, and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Valid Nursing registration (NMC eligibility for UK, or in process)
- Minimum of 1 year post-qualification nursing experience
- Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in English (IELTS/OET scores meeting NMC requirements)
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused approach
- Commitment to continuous professional development
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a specific nursing specialism (e.g., medical, surgical, elderly care, mental health).
- Evidence of recent continuing professional development (CPD).
