Job Description
United Way of Bartholomew County is seeking a dynamic and experienced Non-Profit Director, Community Impact, to lead our strategic initiatives and amplify our influence within Bartholomew County. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of our community impact strategies, ensuring alignment with our mission to create measurable, positive change in education, income stability, and health. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate United Way’s community impact strategy, aligning with organizational goals and local needs.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with community partners, non-profit agencies, government entities, and local businesses.
- Oversee the allocation of grants and resources to partner agencies, ensuring accountability and measurable outcomes.
- Lead the research and identification of emerging community needs and trends to inform program development.
- Manage and mentor a team of community impact professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and optimal use of funds.
- Represent United Way of Bartholomew County at various community events, meetings, and forums.
- Collaborate with the fundraising team to articulate community impact and secure funding for programs and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, reporting requirements, and organizational policies.
- Facilitate data collection, analysis, and reporting to demonstrate impact and inform strategic adjustments.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in non-profit management, community development, or a related field.
- Proven leadership experience, including managing teams and complex projects.
- Strong understanding of community impact strategies and outcomes-based programming.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in strategic planning, program development, and evaluation.
- Solid financial acumen and experience with budget management.
- Bachelor's degree in Non-Profit Management, Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) or similar professional certification.
