Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of designated premises, both internal and external, ensuring all access points are secure.
- Monitor surveillance cameras (CCTV) and alarm systems to detect and respond to security breaches.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, and unauthorized activities.
- Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all shift activities, incidents, and observations.
- Enforce company policies and procedures, including access control and safety regulations.
- Report any suspicious activities, unusual occurrences, or safety hazards to management.
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents.
- Provide professional and courteous assistance to clients, staff, and visitors.
- Conduct routine checks of fire prevention and safety equipment.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain organized records.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar protective services role (minimum 6 months).
- Valid Security Guard License/Permit (as per Georgia state requirements).
- Excellent observational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure during emergencies.
- Strong understanding of security procedures and protocols.
