Job Description
Are you a detail-oriented night owl with a knack for hospitality and a strong sense of responsibility? Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Night Auditor to join our dynamic team. This pivotal full-time role operates during the overnight hours, serving as the face of our hotel when most of the city sleeps. As a Night Auditor, you’re not just processing transactions; you are the guardian of our financial integrity and the primary point of contact for guests seeking assistance or making late-night arrivals. Your primary responsibilities will involve balancing the day’s financial transactions, verifying and reconciling guest accounts, and preparing various financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hotel policies. Beyond the numbers, you will also manage front desk operations, including efficient check-ins and check-outs, handling guest inquiries, and resolving any overnight issues with professionalism and a calm demeanor. This role demands a unique blend of customer service excellence, accounting precision, and operational vigilance. You will be responsible for ensuring the security of the premises, conducting regular property walks, and responding promptly to any emergencies or unusual situations that may arise. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently in a quiet, yet occasionally unpredictable, environment. You will be instrumental in setting the stage for a smooth transition to the morning shift, compiling comprehensive reports that provide critical insights into the previous day’s operations. Joining our team means becoming part of a brand renowned worldwide for its commitment to service and quality. We offer a supportive environment, opportunities for career development, and the chance to make a tangible impact on our guests’ experience. If you are ready to embrace the night and uphold our standards of excellence, we encourage you to apply and become a valued member of the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter family. This is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to ensure our hotel runs flawlessly, even in the quietest hours, providing peace of mind to our guests and management alike. We value individuals who are proactive, reliable, and dedicated to delivering the Hilton promise around the clock.
