Are you a highly skilled and motivated Network Administrator looking to make a significant impact within a leading global IT services company? As a Network Administrator at LG CNS, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our corporate and client-facing networks. Your expertise will be vital in designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex network systems, including LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud environments. We are looking for someone who thrives on solving technical challenges, possesses a proactive approach to network management, and is passionate about staying ahead of industry trends. You will collaborate closely with various IT teams, security specialists, and project managers to ensure seamless network operations, implement robust security measures, and support the deployment of new technologies. You will regularly engage in capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning, ensuring our network infrastructure is resilient and scalable. Beyond day-to-day operations, you will also be involved in evaluating new networking technologies, vendor management, and participating in strategic planning to align our network strategy with business goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and security using various network management tools.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Configure and manage network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN devices.
  • Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures, including access control lists, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Plan and execute network upgrades, patches, and migrations with minimal disruption to services.
  • Perform regular network capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery testing.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams (servers, applications, security) to ensure seamless integration and support of network services.
  • Provide on-call support for critical network incidents outside of business hours as required.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in network administration or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), and switching technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with major network vendors' equipment (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, Aruba).
  • Proficiency in managing and configuring enterprise-grade firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point).
  • Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds).
  • Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in Korean and proficient in English for technical documentation and communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS-ENT, or Network+.
  • Experience with cloud networking platforms (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure VNet, Google Cloud Networking).
  • Familiarity with scripting for network automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
  • Experience working in a large-scale enterprise or IT services environment.
