Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving, and consistent care for children aged 4 and 7.
- Organize and supervise educational and recreational activities suitable for their age and developmental stage.
- Prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the children, adhering to any dietary requirements.
- Assist with homework and school projects, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Manage children's schedules, including school drop-offs/pick-ups (if required), playdates, and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain the children's rooms and play areas, ensuring they are tidy and organized.
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and manage children's health records and appointments.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents regarding children's progress, activities, and any concerns.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times, both inside and outside the home.
- Assist with light household duties related to the children, such as laundry and tidying common areas.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable professional nanny or childcare experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated patience, warmth, and a genuine love for children.
- Ability to plan and execute age-appropriate activities.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- High level of responsibility and trustworthiness.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
- Experience with multiple children and different age groups.
- Ability to drive with a valid Nigerian driver's license.
