Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and attentive care for children, including daily routines such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and napping.
- Plan and engage children in age-appropriate educational activities, creative play, outdoor excursions, and social development.
- Prepare nutritious and delicious meals and snacks for children, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for the children, including tidying play areas, bedrooms, and common spaces related to childcare.
- Assist with homework, school projects, and ensure children are prepared for school each day.
- Manage children's schedules, including appointments, playdates, and extracurricular activities.
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and manage children's medications as instructed by parents.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with parents regarding children's progress, activities, and any concerns.
- Foster good manners, respect, and positive behavior through consistent guidance and positive reinforcement.
- Perform light household duties pertaining to the children, such as laundry, tidying their belongings, and organizing toys.
- Accompany the family on occasional travel, if required, ensuring continuity of care for the children.
- Maintain the strictest confidentiality and discretion regarding family matters.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience as a Nanny or professional child caregiver in a private household.
- Proven ability to provide nurturing and responsible childcare.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluent English.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for children.
- Ability to plan and execute engaging activities for children of various ages.
- Basic knowledge of child development stages and age-appropriate care techniques.
