Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional and dedicated Live-in Nanny to join a prominent corporate household in Oshodi, Oshodi-Isolo. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to provide comprehensive care for our children, fostering their development in a loving, stimulating, and secure home environment. The ideal candidate will be someone with a genuine passion for childcare, possessing a calm demeanor, impeccable organizational skills, and a proactive approach to nurturing young minds. You will be responsible for the daily well-being, education, and creative engagement of our children, ensuring their schedules are maintained, and their needs are met with the highest level of attention. Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-time, attentive, and nurturing care for children, including infants and school-aged kids (ages to be disclosed during interview).
- Oversee daily routines including meal preparation, dressing, bathing, and nap/bedtime schedules.
- Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities, creative play, and outdoor excursions.
- Assist with homework and school projects, promoting a love for learning.
- Manage children's laundry, maintain tidiness in their rooms and play areas, and ensure a safe environment.
- Plan and coordinate stimulating activities, playdates, and outings.
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and manage children's health records.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with parents regarding children's progress, activities, and any concerns.
- Accompany children to appointments, school, and extracurricular activities as required.
- Maintain a respectful and professional demeanor at all times, upholding household privacy and values.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable professional nanny experience in a private household.
- Proven ability to provide comprehensive care for children of various age groups.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Demonstrated patience, creativity, and a loving approach to childcare.
- Ability to adapt to family's evolving needs and maintain flexibility.
- High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
