Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving, and consistent care for children, prioritizing their physical, emotional, and social well-being above all else.
- Manage and maintain daily routines, which include waking, dressing, bathing, preparing for school, feeding, and adhering to designated nap times or quiet periods.
- Prepare healthy, balanced, and nutritious meals and snacks for the children, diligently adhering to any specific dietary restrictions, allergies, or preferences communicated by parents.
- Organize and actively engage children in age-appropriate educational, creative, and recreational activities (e.g., reading aloud, imaginative games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, learning exercises).
- Provide dedicated assistance with homework and school projects as required, fostering a positive attitude towards learning.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and highly organized environment for the children, including tidying up play areas, children's bedrooms, and common spaces used by the children.
- Accompany children to school, various appointments (e.g., doctor, dentist), and scheduled extracurricular activities, ensuring their safety and punctuality.
- Communicate effectively, openly, and regularly with parents regarding the children's daily activities, developmental progress, achievements, and any concerns or observations.
- Implement positive discipline techniques and consistently encourage good manners, respectful behavior, and responsibility.
- Handle children's laundry, ensuring their clothing and linens are clean, organized, and properly put away.
- Administer medication if necessary, strictly following all parental instructions and maintaining accurate records.
- Be prepared for occasional travel with the family if required, with prior arrangement and adequate notice.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 1 year) in childcare, specifically as a nanny or in a similar professional role.
- Genuine love for children and a deep, intuitive understanding of various child development stages and needs.
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with both children and parents.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
