Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional front-of-house services, including greeting visitors, ticket sales, and providing information about exhibitions, programs, and general museum facilities.
- Assist with the coordination and execution of educational workshops, special events, and private functions, ensuring smooth setup and visitor flow.
- Monitor gallery spaces to ensure the safety and security of artworks and visitors, maintaining a pleasant and orderly environment.
- Handle visitor inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently, offering solutions and enhancing the overall visitor experience.
- Support administrative tasks such as maintaining visitor records, managing bookings, preparing reports, and handling general office correspondence.
- Assist with the inventory and presentation of merchandise in the museum shop, ensuring attractive displays and assisting with sales.
- Collaborate with other museum departments, including curatorial, education, and security, to ensure cohesive operations and program delivery.
- Adhere to all museum policies and procedures, including emergency protocols, to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.
- Provide basic first aid assistance and respond to emergencies as trained, ensuring visitor safety and well-being.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English, both spoken and written.
- Strong organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and public-facing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash and payment transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Basic computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to learn ticketing systems.
