Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of public parks, gardens, and recreational areas.
- Assist with the collection, sorting, and disposal of waste materials, including refuse removal and litter picking.
- Participate in the maintenance and minor repairs of municipal infrastructure such as roads, pavements, stormwater drains, and street furniture.
- Operate and maintain basic hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively.
- Clear overgrown vegetation, manage weeds, and assist with landscaping tasks.
- Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or faulty equipment to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all occupational health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Provide support for various municipal service delivery initiatives as required.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve operational goals.
