Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine motorcycle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire repairs/replacements, chain adjustments, and general tune-ups.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and personal expertise.
- Repair and replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical wiring.
- Conduct thorough pre-delivery inspections for new motorcycles and perform post-repair test rides to ensure proper functionality and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Advise customers on necessary repairs, maintenance schedules, and preventive measures, ensuring clear communication.
- Adhere strictly to all safety standards and workshop procedures.
- Keep the workshop clean, organized, and tools well-maintained.
- Stay updated with new motorcycle technologies, repair techniques, and manufacturer specifications.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Motorcycle Mechanic or a similar role.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools common in motorcycle repair.
- Comprehensive knowledge of motorcycle engines, transmissions, braking systems, fuel systems, and electrical components.
