Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobile App Developer to join our growing team in Ibadan. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of high-impact financial technology solutions that serve millions of users. You will work closely with a team of experienced engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver exceptional user experiences. You will be involved in all aspects of the mobile app development lifecycle, from initial concept and design to deployment and maintenance. Your work will directly impact the usability and efficiency of our financial applications, making a tangible difference in people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code using best practices.
- Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect user data.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs in existing mobile applications.
- Contribute to the development of mobile app architecture and design patterns.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile app development.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Required Skills
- Proficient in Java/Kotlin (Android) and Swift/Objective-C (iOS)
- Experience with mobile app development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter, Xamarin)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in mobile app development
- Experience working in a Fintech environment
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
