Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments and intake evaluations for new clients to determine appropriate care.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting measurable goals and objectives.
- Provide individual counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques (e.g., CBT, DBT, psychodynamic).
- Document client progress, treatment plans, and session notes accurately and timely in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including supervisors, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated client care.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision and team meetings for case consultation and ongoing professional development.
- Maintain strict client confidentiality and adhere to all ethical guidelines and professional standards established by relevant licensing boards.
- Facilitate referrals to external resources and specialized services when appropriate, ensuring clients receive comprehensive support.
Required Skills
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Strong foundational knowledge of counseling theories, ethical guidelines, and therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
