Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, strengths, and challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques under supervision.
- Provide individual counseling sessions to clients via secure telehealth platforms, maintaining a safe and confidential space.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client records in compliance with ethical guidelines and company policies.
- Actively participate in regular clinical supervision, team meetings, and case consultations to discuss client progress and treatment strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, external resources, and family members (as appropriate and with client consent) to ensure holistic care.
- Stay informed about current trends, research, and best practices in mental health counseling through continuous learning and professional development.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed, following established protocols and escalating serious concerns to supervisors immediately.
Required Skills
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (or actively working towards licensure).
- Strong foundational knowledge of counseling theories and techniques.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High degree of empathy, active listening, and compassion.
- Proficiency in using virtual communication tools and basic computer applications.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently, manage a caseload, and seek supervision proactively.
- Commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality.
