Key Responsibilities
- Safely and punctually transport patients to and from medical facilities, appointments, and residences.
- Assist patients with boarding and exiting the vehicle, providing support and comfort as needed.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of the assigned vehicle, conducting pre-and post-trip inspections.
- Accurately complete all required transportation logs, incident reports, and patient documentation.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with patients, their families, medical staff, and dispatchers.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Respond to emergencies and critical situations calmly and effectively, following established protocols.
- Manage and properly secure any medical equipment or patient belongings during transport.
- Attend all mandatory training sessions and maintain necessary certifications.
Required Skills
- Valid South African Driver's License (Code B or higher)
- Clean driving record with no major infractions
