Key Responsibilities
- Receive, label, and process patient specimens (blood, urine, tissue, etc.) accurately and efficiently.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures under direct supervision, following established protocols.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper function and calibration.
- Document all test results, quality control data, and instrument maintenance logs precisely.
- Prepare reagents and solutions according to standard operating procedures.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, infection control policies, and regulatory requirements (CLIA, CAP).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs.
- Communicate effectively with senior technicians and laboratory management regarding specimen issues or test anomalies.
