Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on patient samples (e.g., blood, urine, tissues) following established protocols.
- Prepare specimens for analysis, ensuring proper labeling and handling according to laboratory standards.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, performing basic troubleshooting as needed.
- Accurately record, analyze, and report test results in the laboratory information system (LIS).
- Adhere strictly to quality control procedures, safety regulations, and infection control policies.
- Assist with inventory management of laboratory supplies and reagents.
- Collaborate effectively with other laboratory staff, nurses, and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
