Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses on biological specimens (blood, urine, tissue, etc.) following established protocols and procedures.
- Prepare specimens for testing, including proper labeling, aliquoting, and storage.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functionality and accuracy.
- Document and report test results accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to laboratory information system (LIS) guidelines.
- Adhere strictly to quality control standards, safety regulations, and infection prevention protocols.
- Assist in maintaining laboratory inventory, including ordering and stocking supplies.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
