Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory procedures including accurate specimen collection, meticulous processing, and precise testing under direct supervision.
- Prepare reagents, solutions, and culture media, and meticulously maintain laboratory equipment according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Accurately record, document, and report test results in laboratory information systems, ensuring data integrity and strict patient confidentiality.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, quality control standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., CLIA, CAP) to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring inventory of laboratory supplies, reagents, and consumables, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Actively participate in comprehensive training programs and continuous professional development initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate effectively and professionally with laboratory supervisors, senior technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless operations.
