Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex mechanical maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure.
- Diagnose mechanical failures and execute timely repairs to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs using techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis.
- Collaborate with production, electrical, and automation teams to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in the planning and execution of equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory.
- Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety.
- Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance technicians as needed.
- Manage and coordinate external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance or mechanical engineering roles.
- Proficiency in mechanical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with pumps, motors, gears, bearings, and conveyor systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Experience in the automotive manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in Korean language for daily communication and team integration.
- Certification in predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., Level I or II Vibration Analysis).
