You will be responsible for performing comprehensive mechanical inspections, accurately identifying faults, conducting necessary repairs, and ensuring all work meets our rigorous quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using specialized tools and equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, fluid checks, and filter replacements.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in various vehicle systems (engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, steering, HVAC).
- Execute timely and accurate repairs, including engine overhauls, transmission repairs, and component replacements.
- Inspect vehicle components for wear, damage, or malfunction and recommend appropriate corrective actions to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed, parts used, and time spent on each job using workshop management systems.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues, proposed repair processes, and estimated costs.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and workshop procedures, ensuring a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies, repair techniques, and industry best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
- Assist in training junior mechanics and apprentices as required, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Perform thorough quality control checks on completed work to ensure optimal vehicle performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting across various vehicle makes and models.
- Strong knowledge of diverse vehicle systems, including internal combustion engines, transmissions (manual and automatic), braking systems, suspension, electrical systems, and HVAC.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic scan tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other specialized workshop equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins.
