Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled masons with various tasks on construction sites.
- Prepare and mix mortar, cement, and other building materials accurately according to specifications.
- Transport materials such as bricks, blocks, and stone to the work area efficiently and safely.
- Load and unload tools and equipment safely and organize them appropriately.
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Assist with setting up scaffolding, platforms, and ladders as directed by supervisors.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations on the construction site meticulously.
- Learn and apply basic masonry techniques and practices under direct supervision.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding tasks and progress.
- Maintain a high level of punctuality and attendance, demonstrating reliability.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy materials (up to 25kg).
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong attendance record.
- Strong work ethic and positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Eagerness to learn new skills and follow instructions precisely.
- Basic understanding of safety practices on a construction site.
